Expectations

What customers should expect before submitting a job

This page sets clear expectations around review, revisions, timing, and support so the public manufacturing flow feels more transparent.

Guidance

How Edyn Labs is handling the current public workflow

These are practical expectations for the current stage of the manufacturing platform, not legal boilerplate.

Quote review comes before production

The public POD flow is intentionally quote-first. Jobs are reviewed before they become production commitments so manufacturability, finishing, and lead time can be checked with more care.

Material and finish assumptions may change

Early estimates are based on the information submitted. If geometry, size, material choice, or finishing needs materially affect the job, Edyn Labs may revise the estimate or request clarification before approval.

Revisions are part of the workflow

If a request needs changes, feedback can be returned to the same quote record so customers can revise and resubmit instead of starting from scratch.

Turnaround targets are not blanket guarantees

Typical approved jobs target a 2–3 day turnaround window, but larger runs, more complex geometry, or unusual finishing requirements can extend the timeline.

Support is workflow-oriented

The current public support surface is designed to help customers start quotes, regain account access, and track orders — not to act like a full enterprise ticketing portal yet.
